The School District wants us to make an "action plan" (seen on page 17-21 of below document) concerning upcoming testing for students in the 9th and 10th grade (or students in a NON PSSA year)
SLA needs to discuss and figure out how to comply with the district and stay true to our values at the same time.
The district would like to use these tests to satisfy a couple of goals. These can be read on the agenda document on page 15. There is also a chart to explain what is being proposed and what is currently being done with the Enhanced Assessment System
As we go forward with benchmark projects -
Taking it to the next level talking about students getting ready to move up in grade and teachers discussing students progress?
What reports are we going to generate?
How can we use data to show the district the collection and good use of data in a collaborative way?
How can we show this and stay true to our values?
Check list or strategy to report other data at the end of the year?
Making time to sift through the data we already create?
List our data points, how we use them, how we review them, what can we learn from it,
End of year narrative? (internal document) to set goals for that student the following year in the formal c-sap.
